OK, well I guess I'm not that lazy--either that or I realized that this just isn't so hard! I have conference calls from 10 AM until midnight on Mondays, so looks like this is a good time to update the blog.
Explanation on the photos, Grace got her hair cut!! We were able to donate 10 inches of hair to the Locks of Love campagin. Grace was excited; however, she vacilates on looking like a boy and feeling gorgeous with her new do. It helps when mommy curls it, but lucky for her she has Aunt Stacey's natural wave, so it has great body.
We had to toss the gingerbread house, so it was time for Grant and Milo to pose with it before it left. They made it with Grandma Ball and was fantastically created. I noticed before we tossed it that had nearly been totally pillaged by one month after Christmas.
Grant had the opportunity to use some reading material to facilitate his first BM on the potty. Very successful, although he hasn't been back often--he was incentivized for this one with a new Lightning McQueen car. Of course Grant looks cute with whatever he does.
Here's a small capture of the amount of snow we have. The one sunny day we've had in a long time. It's been crazy!
Santa visited and held our niece Emma, Jason's sister Judy's new baby, her 6th and her family's 8th! We had Judy, McKay and Emma over the week of Christmas and loved our time together.
Some photos of Grant being adorable, taken by our resident photographer, Milo. Amazingly there weren't 200 pictures on the card when I downloaded today, which usually happe
ns when Milo gets ahold of the camera. You should see the pictures I have of every ornament and decoration from Christmas!
The kiddo's infront of the tree. If you look closely, the picture was suppose to take place before a spaghetti dinner--it didn't and there's lots of orange cheeks!
And finally, we were at Grandma and Grandpa Ball's and Grace forgot her coat. Grandpa found this one and Grace was SO excited to wear Aunt Stacey's cheerleading jacket!! Spirit fingers!
Is it possible February is nearly 1/2 over?! We've had a lot of fun, and a lot more to come. Jason and I are heading to Mexico at the end of February, beginning of March for 4 days on a cruise we won with Nouveau Riche. We are thrilled to be having fun and collaborating with our mentors and top-producing team members.
I also just got an e-mail from the Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) club at BYU-Hawaii inviting Jason to come speak to their group as well as the Management Society Student Chapter group. So--twist my arm--we'll be heading to Oahu in March for a week. I am STOKED about this! We've never been and are planning on time at PCC, Pearl Harbor, and coordinating with a Nouveau Riche training event in Honolulu as well.
As you know, I'm constantly in personal development mode and had a break through session with my coach on Thursday and learned that my personal motivator is actually wild family fun (as opposed to monetary production as I used to think). So now that I'm aware, I'm on a thrilling path to create and plan more fun. If you think I can coordinate that with a trip to your neck of the woods, drop me a note and let me know! We're doing local and national trips each month as a family--it's my intention! :)
So I'll sign off from snowy Ucon, Idaho. May you have a creative and purposeful day!
