2009!

So it's 2009! And it's also 1/2 way through the month already! My committment to myself and to everyone I love and adore--but have neglected staying in touch with--is to blog weekly--with or without pictures! I know I'll have to figure out YouTube and Shutterfly, but I can't wait any longer!

We came to Idaho Falls for the long weekend to spend time with the Andrus' and my Mom & Dad. The kids love our trips over here--and it only takes about 2 videos in the car to get here, as Milo noticed when we pulled in to Mom & Dad's driveway.

Milo came home with his first reading book this week and we're SO excited for him! He has been working so hard on his letter recognition as he prepares for the state reading test this week. He is still struggling with B,D,P, R and W,U,V. We've pulled out the playdough, the sugar in the cookie sheet, and made letters with arms and legs. Any other suggestions would be great!

He's wearing his eyepatch which has been a bit of a stuggle. His bad eye is so bad, that he says he can't hardly see. He's still about 20/150 in the bad eye. He's quite the trooper plugging through 4 hours a day practically blind as a bat.

Milo and Grant were thrilled to spend time with cousin Heber, Grace got to play with cousin Savannah and was so excited too!

Mom is the still the premier grandma's grandma with food and fun for the kids!

We're headed back to Boise this afternoon and I'm excited to get my first post out and online! Now if I can just figure out how to post this on my iPhone I might do it even more often!
